Comparing Spiritual Things With Spiritual Wars on Earth

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. (Psalm 12:6 & 7) ............ For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. (Psalm 119:89).............. I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. (Psalm 138:2)................ All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16) ................ Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. (Proverbs 30:5)

WARS ON EARTH

The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.

Proverbs 14:8

Someone put out a map on the world conquest by different people from 3000 BC to 2006 AD. The focus of this map is on Israel, the nation chosen by God, where this piece of real estate has been fought over for centuries just because God has put His stake on this piece of land to bring forth the Messiah into the world to save sinners and establish His Kingdom on earth ruling from Jerusalem. This is educational and the Holy Bible does document the rise and fall of kingdoms and the Kingdom of the Lord shall soon be established as we are told:

Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. Zephaniah 3:8

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. Zechariah 14:2&3

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6

The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 11:15b
