All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16) ................ HE WHO TAKES AWAY

The Reader's Digest Bible is an abridged version of the RSV, which is the product of the socialist, New Age, and even atheist-backed organization known as the World Council of Churches. This organization has gone so far as to back murderous regimes in Africa that have slaughtered millions of Christians. This is not surprising since murdering babies is very popular with most of its member churches, as is the "marriage" of people of the same sex. This tells us all we need to know about the nature of the publishers of the Reader's Digest and Bruce M. Metzger who directed the project, but it is instructive to examine how the Reader's Digest Bible and Metzger dealt with the above quoted verse. It has been taken away along with thousands of others words. I need not say the word that describes Professor Metzger. In fact, nothing more need be said at all.
